We traveled on a cruise ship with Gillen to Alaska a few years ago. She made all the transportation arrangements and everything worked perfectly. She arranged for much of the food and that was perfect, too. It was truly "Smooth Sailing". Since then we visited the Grand Canyon with her and although there was little water, it was more smooth sailing.

TRAVEL BY GILLEN. – If you want the best travel agent you can get, you should use Gillen Geary. Gillen has planned several trips for us and we could not have been more satisfied with each one. Some trips were with a group of our friends and all were extremely happy. She’s a magician in arranging everything you ask for. We wanted to take a trip to Italy, but did not want to go with a tour group. We told Gillen what we wanted and she planned the whole trip for us, including providing us with all of our first class train tickets even before we left the U.S. The hotels she picked were perfect, the transfers she arranged were very efficient, all private tours were first class. We visited six cities and there was not one glitch. It was a trip of a lifetime. Also, she is very accessible. She answers all your questions, return phone calls very quickly, and there is not anything that is too difficult for her to do. She is a first class travel agent and a first class lady. You would be doing yourself an injustice by not calling TRAVEL BY GILLEN.

Kevin and I would like to thank you for helping us plan our amazing visit to Ireland this Spring. We had no idea how beautiful it would be and how much fun we were going to have. I can’t say enough how smoothly everything went with the plans you both put together for us. We were able to have our independence by touring with our own car (a Range Rover which we loved!) and it made for several hilarious stories about driving on the wrong side of narrow roads. Your idea to follow the Cie Tour worked perfectly because we loved the hotels and the itinerary they had planned for us. Also, the flights on Aer Lingus were comfortable and effortless. The books provided by Cie Tours were a tremendous help in guiding us through a strange country and this was our first trip abroad. We intend on making another trip to this beautiful country with its welcoming people again. This was the trip of a lifetime! Thank you both so much for making it come true.

Just wanted to get in touch with you and let you know that we had an amazing time on our trip!! The Apple representatives were very helpful and we had no problems with transportation. The hotel was amazing, the beach was gorgeous, I have never seen water so blue! There was a lot of great varieties of food and drinks and the staff were very friendly and helpful! We went out one night to senor frogs and had a great time and the rest of the nights we stayed in the hotel lobby where they had live music. We even made friends with some of the waitresses and bartenders along with other spring breakers at the resort!
Thank you so much for everything, the four of us definitely had the time of our life! I will definitely be contacting you the next time I am planning a vacation!

My wife and I (Oakmont residents) recently went on a tour of Argentina and Antarctica. Our tour commenced in Buenos Aires, and we wanted to visit Rio and Iguazu Falls (various spellings, depending on whether you use Portuguese or Spanish). So we turned to Travel By Gillen to help us arrange this additional visit.
Travel by Gillen did a perfect job. We spent several lovely days in Rio, with an excellent boutique hotel and a great tour guide. After a short flight to Iguazu Falls, we stayed at a hotel inside the Brazilian national park, with a view of the falls from our hotel room. We had another great tour guide, and travelled over to the Argentine side, where we could actually walk right out to the falls themselves (the "Devil's Throat"). And we took a boat ride up into the falls – very refreshing given the heat of the South American summer. We've seen Victoria Falls and Niagara Falls, and they don't hold a candle to Iguazu Falls.
